Sacred Tension: An Evangelical and a Satanist Have a Conversation

A while back a few colleagues helped me make a connection with a member of the Satanic Temple. This group has made the news on several occasions in the area of religious freedom in the public square, such as the attempt to have a satanic monument put next to a Ten Commandments monument on State Capitol grounds in Arkansas. The group has interested me given my work in new religious movements as well as freedom of religion. Thankfully I was able to connect with Stephen Bradford Long who has a podcast called Sacred Tension. In this episode I interview him to help evangelicals understand Satanism and the issues the Satanic Temple have been pursuing, and toward the end he asks me a few questions as a satanist.
