The problem is Christians not living up to their own convictions

Yesterday I blogged on a PRRI survey on the many Christians who don’t have relationships with those in other religions. In response, someone on my email list shared a link to an opinion piece in USA Today. The thrust of the piece is that while some say that religion poisons our discourse, the reality is that it is the failure of Christians to live up to their core convictions on loving God and others that leads to incivility. You can read “Don’t blame incivility on religion. Christian principles are an antidote to nastiness.” here.
